With an enemy force of 12 units, you sure have your work cut out for you. To balance the scales, you’ll also have Rudolph and Sycrus on your side . Rudolph is an archer like Hughette, but prefers to get closer to his targets. Sycrus is a beefy Staffwielder with the Cheer ability, which grants them TP and buffs their strength for a few tu
First, let’s note that a heightened degree of Conviction in a particular aspect “feeds into itself” in a nifty fashion: selecting a dialogue decision during Conviction-related conversations will boost that decision’s reflected aspect substantial
Use Quietuses and secure spoils in battle. Also, in a bit of a dark twist from the Morality guidelines, you’ll gain Utility points by winning objective-driven fights but still killing every enemy. (Example: The ‘Take Back the Boat’ mental mock battle merely requires you to have at least one unit occupy the boat on a turn when zero foes are doing so; that’ll let you win, and earn Morality points, but slay everyone first for Utility poin
Forging relationships with these companions is critical, as they directly vote on many of the game’s biggest decisions through the Scales of Conviction. Rather than Serenoa deciding for the group, major turning points of the game’s narrative are decided by each member of the party casting a vote. In order to get their desired outcome, gamers must persuade party members to vote how they want them
This mixed delivery doesn’t really matter though, it’s consistent enough that the more dramatic moments strike with an execution that carries the weight of kingdoms collapsing and betrayals stinging like a well-placed dagger in the back. Given all the characters are depicted by 2D portraits and a lump of pixels, this is a real testament to the excellent writing and Tomoya Asano’s desire to tell a more mature story that wasn’t possible in Bravely Default or Octopath Traveller. It’s badass, and I can’t wait to see where the narrative goes and if the weight of my decisions will continue to make a noticeable difference. Since right now, I’ve made a handful of choices that have me curious to tackle a second playthrough.
Triangle Strategy gets more and more serious as the chapters pass, and this chapter is no exception. While this part of the chapter has no combat, you will be fighting within yourself when trying to decide what to do: should you protect Roland and face a powerful army, or surrender him to Aesfrost in favor of pe

This is the first mandatory battle wherein you will have Recommended units . These units are considered particularly useful by the game for the current battle. Including all of them in your battle party will not only give you an edge but will net you some Utility points . Conversely, if you use none of them, Strategyinsights.Xyz you’ll get some Liberty poin
After being both impressed yet underwhelmed by the ambition of Octopath Traveller, Triangle Strategy feels like a more focused outing that knows exactly what it can do well and builds upon it in countless ways. The characters are great, the combat is satisfying, and the world building thus far is absolutely stellar. If the full game continues to build upon this brilliance we could be looking at one of the year’s most unexpected surprises.
This is also the first exploration event that you’ll experience that features a merchant . These offer time-limited shops that may sometimes offer exclusive items. If you want something and do not currently have the Coins for it, you can partake in Mental Mock Battles in the Encampment to earn some. This can be done even during an exploration ev

In Triangle Strategy, there will be multiple events that require you to make a decision using the Scales of Conviction . This involves a vote held amongst seven of your allies, who each get a say in the mat
Serenoa and co. reach Wolffort Castle… and receive the bad news. And then some more bad news. And then yet another piece of bad news. It just isn’t going well for our heroes, is it? It’s a bad day to be a father/father figure in Norze
The land consists of three kingdoms – Glenbrook, Aesfrost, and Hyzante – all of which are living in a state of peace despite an ongoing struggle over the resources of salt and iron. The land is a powder keg waiting to explode, and a joint mining venture between neighbouring city states is the match that nefarious forces have been waiting for. Protagonist Seronoa Wolffort hails from Glenbrook, belonging to a major house that has forever been loyal to the throne. With his father growing ill, he’s entrusted with the house chair just as his betrothed, Frederica Aesfrost, arrives from the neighbouring kingdom to prepare for the wedding.
