Diablo 4 ‘s developers repeatedly iterated on its undead summoning mechanics, with the goal of providing players with as many customization options for their minions as possible. The current system was designed to have synergy with each of the other three playstyles, enabling players to empower their armies in a variety of ways. Much of the playstyle’s versatility is thanks to a unique system that Necromancers gain access to: the Book of the Dead.
