Godzilla: King of the Monsters duly followed in 2019 and fully cracked open the doors of the MonsterVerse, introducing Mothra, Ghidorah and numerous other Titans waiting in the wings, of which Kong was one. In both critical and commercial terms, King of the Monsters was afforded a more lukewarm response in comparison to the previous 2 entries in the series, but Warner Bros. and Legendary are pressing ahead with their scheduled showdown between Kong and Godzilla none the less. The fate of the MonsterVerse likely hinges entirely on the performance of Godzilla vs. Kong later this year; the upcoming clash could elevate the cinematic universe in the same way The Avengers did for the MCU, but if there’s no significant improvement upon King of the Monsters , it’s hard to see the franchise continuing further. As things stand, however, the MonsterVerse has generally proved successful for Warner Bros . and could yet become a leading cinematic unive
Similar in style to the MCU and DCEU, the Arthurian series would’ve comprised solo films for various famed characters of legend and built towards a crossover team-up against a major villain. Audiences and critics, however, sensed that trying to hammer a centuries-old story of knights and vikings into the en-vogue superhero format of the day was bottom-of-the-barrel stuff, and King Arthur ‘s fortunes weren’t helped by an almost invisible marketing presence that meant the release passed most movie-goers by. Unfortunately, those who did witness Legend of the Sword were largely unimpressed with the film’s sequel setup, erratic pace and weird David Beckham cameo . Generally considered one of Ritchie’s weaker efforts , King Arthur: Legend of the Sword might’ve fared better without the weight of a further 5 films lingering in the dista
Since Wild Rift will help League transition into mobile platforms, players will finally play League with a much simpler format. Interested players often complain about how OG League might be too complicated. This comment might pertain to item combos, Runes setups, or even Spell select
Warner Bros. were one of several who went all-in on developing shared universes, and while some have long since been forgotten, others are rolling on and gradually adopting a style and format all of their own. Here are the 5 shared universes Warner Bros. produced and their status here and now in 2
The 27-year-old had previously given his thoughts about solo queue issues in League of Legends , suggesting that third party leagues and tournaments similar to those in CS:GO might benefit the game. Riot has since released Clash, which is similar to what CS:GO offers to players trying to climb the lad
In terms of teamplay, the Dignitas support mentioned that he feels as though it falls on him to get everyone on the same page. “When you’re playing with new players, everybody’s different and they’re not gonna be the same. Having that transition where you gotta adapt is super important. Be disciplined, be patient and strive for that together as a team. Last split, yeah we won the first four games and then it was all over the place. We weren’t really together on anything, essential
Malphite is in a lot of ways the quintessential representation of a tank in League of Legends. He is a big bulky champion with a lot of sustain and not much damage and all of his spells either give CC or just make him even tank
Here’s where all of the Warner Bros. shared universes are today, and which of them actually succeeded. The concept of several different movie series all being connected by a larger shared universe umbrella is not new to cinema. The Universal monster movie franchise popular throughout the 1930s and 1940s is often considered the very first example of a shared cinematic universe, tying together otherwise disparate franchises such as Dracula , The Mummy and The Wolf-Man . In Japan, Toho’s kaiju movies also formed their own connected fictional world, with Godzilla front and cen
An unusual set of skins but still pretty cool. Taric Luminshield, Twitch Shadowfoot, and Talon Blackwood feature unique aspects that don’t bundle them together as any particular skin line successor. Taric Luminshield, by the name, features light colors like gold, bright yellow, and silver. While Twitch and Talon go the other way with purple, silver, green, and gold tones. Each skin will cost 1350
Mobile MOBA fans who loved Wild Rift might worry about two things: microtransactions and hacks. The first one seems inevitable, especially since OG League of Legends Top Lane guide and most MOBAs have microtransactions. In the case of Wild Rift , microtransactions come in the form of purchasable heroes and sk
TSM has now won six out of their last eight games, finding their way to 3rd place in the LCS Spring standings. Dardoch has been a major part of this surge, playing Lee Sin both games this past weekend against 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses, winning both handily. One of the main jobs of a jungler is to secure neutral objectives, such as baron and dragon, as these give buffs that increase the stats of the players, helping them win fights. During week 5, TSM gave up 6 dragons, taking just 3 for themselves. This was done intentionally, however, as they decided to exchange early game dragons for objectives elsewhere on the map, such as map pressure and turrets. Early game dragons were weakened this past off season, and making these trade-offs helped TSM get early advantages. In doing so, this enabled Dardoch to secure baron buffs, an arguably more important late game objective. He managed to secure his team 100% of the barons taken this past weekend, which led to TSM winning both games. In terms of personal stats, Dardoch led junglers with a 14 KDA this week, dying just once. TSM will look to Dardoch to be a strength in the jungle, as they chase Flyquest in the standi
