Mario is not only a staple in video game history; he is THE pinnacle of the industry. His games have defined what it means to be a video MOBA game Hero builds. But guess what? I can make a video game too! Super Mario Maker is a phenomenal concept that allows fans to bring to life their very own versions of the plumber’s classic adventures. I’ve had tons of fun just imagining my own Mario levels and feeling like a real developer at Nintendo. If only they could see my creations…sigh. Whatever, Super Mario Maker is in fact a fantastic game despite all the extremely hard user-created levels that I’ve skipped over.

**Michael: Deckard Cain is probably the most prolific character in Diablo . When Heroes of the Storm first released, his absence seemed a bit weird. Was he someone you have always planned to bring to the roster

Anybody who has ever attended a gaming or comic convention knows that the world of cosplay is no joke. Cosplayers spend countless hours planning and building insane costumes every year, just to parade them out during convention season and show them off. Unless you’re a part of the scene, you might not realize just how much blood, sweat, and tears goes into every project. We sat down with one of our favorite cosplayers this week to chat about the work that went into her League and Legends and Diablo 3 proje

Now, as you see, our patch schedule is insane; I think we patched 57 times last year which is nuts. But there’s so much content; we’re always tweaking things. Everything is open for improvement. It doesn’t really matter what’s in-game or what’s new in the game; we’re always looking at it on how we can make this game bet

“The demon hunter was the project that I decided to do after I went to my first major convention and got a good look at what other people were producing. I mained a demon hunter all the way through Diablo 3 , had loved the character and the artwork associated with it. It seemed a natural choice for me at the time. I just kind of sat down one day, looked at my boyfriend, and said “This. This is what I want to do next.” So I did it. Rather poorly. It was pretty much glued together and the first time I wore it to Megacon, it hadn’t even been sealed, I just slapped paint on it. It evolved quite a bit between Megacon and Supercon. It now just sits on a mannequin in my room, it’s almost too fragile to wear out anymore. There’s a nostalgic part of me that wants to remake it knowing everything I know now

Yes you, you’re the worst. You, the person next to you, everyone in your game, and me. We are all the worst and wildly hated characters in League of Legends . Even though I try to be very constructive and avoid getting into shouting matches, because this is a team game after all, I know I’m hated because I’m constantly told so. If I say something like, “it’s okay, play under turret, I’ll gank after backing, and we’ll win this in the late game.” The answer I usually get is, “**** you, you suck, no gank, ff” (or a variation of that, usually there are many more spelling errors). There are no lack of examples from everyone’s personal experiences. If you don’t play League and would like to see how bad it is, check out Disco Heat’s YouTube channel and his series, League of Children . Particularly, his one-off playlist after episode 10. He just rips those videos straight from other streamers. He does not edit them, he does not punch them up, it is just raw footage of people flaming while playing the game. Remember, these videos showcase players when they know there is a camera on them live streaming. I can only imagine how bad they can get off-cam

If 134 champions is too many to keep track of then, 221 items is also going to be a headache. I’ll cop to the fact that _ LoL _ does have an item suggestion prompt that gives new players a handy tip as to what item they should be purchasing, but the fact that such a feature is even necessary is not something to appl

This one is sure to get me some angry emails from _ LoL _ purists, but the fact that experience gained isn’t shared among the team can warp games into bizarre scenarios where one player is level 10 while the rest of the team is level 6, or even lower. It can be terribly disheartening to be playing a tank like Rammus, or a support like Janna, the best they’ve ever been played and still be down in experience compared to the more damage oriented champi

Long forgotten by Riot, Urgot is in desperate need of a rework to make him relevant again. Every once in a while, when the tank meta comes on too strong, you may see him make a reappearance, providing armor reduction for the rest of his team, but generally he’s an inconsequential pick. Don’t get me wrong, he’s fun to play and there are some players who are very good with him and useful. Unfortunately, they are a small minority and he has an abysmal win rate. So just the sight of him on your team usually sends your teammates into rage spirals before the game can even begin. If for nothing else, he needs a rework as an excuse to replace that Giant Enemy Crabgot splash art. Why Riot still has official art up of a big cyborg crab monster kidnapping a scantily clad girl is a mystery toPixelated Game Over screen on an oversized PAC-MAN arcade machine
